Am Freitag, den 9. Juni, wurde das KIEZ:MOBIL Teil des KIEZBLOCK-Projekts “Reallabor am Solonplatz”. On Friday, June 9, the KIEZ:MOBIL became part of the KIEZBLOCK project “Reallabor am Solonplatz”.
Das Bezirksamt Pankow alle Anwohner und am Kiezblock Interessierten zu der Veranstaltung “Kiezblock: Straße frei!” ein. An diesem Tag wurde der Autoverkehr am Solonplatz für einen Tag ausgesetzt und machte Platz für neue Nutzungen. Der Straßenraum wurde neu erlebt: als Ort des Aufenthalts und der Begegnung. The district office of Pankow invited all residents and people interested in the Kiezblock to the event “Kiezblock: Street free!”. On this day, car traffic on Solonplatz was suspended for one day and made way for new uses. The street space was experienced in a new way: as a place to stay and meet.
Die Veranstaltung begann mit Spiel und Spaß und wurde fortgesetzt mit dem Markt der Möglichkeiten, auf dem sich lokale und berlinweit aktive Initiativen präsentierten. Schließlich eröffnete Cornelius Bechtler, Bezirksstadtrat für Stadtentwicklung und Bürgerdienste, das Kiezblockforum, in dem alle Entwicklungen und Planungen für das Komponistenviertel vorgestellt wurden und für alle zur Diskussion standen. The event began with fun and games and continued with the Market of Opportunities, where local and Berlin-wide active initiatives presented themselves. Finally, Cornelius Bechtler, District Councillor for Urban Development and Citizens’ Services, opened the Kiezblockforum, where all developments and plans for the Komponistenviertel were presented and open for discussion by all.
