22 - 23/07/2023 -> Collective Action at Rundgang KHB
In diesem Jahr begleitet das KIEZ:MOBIL den MA-Studiengang Raumstrategien während des Rundgnags an der Kunsthochschule Weißensee. This year, KIEZ:MOBIL will accompany the MA Program Spatial Strategies during Rundgnag at the Weißensee School of Art.
Maria Fallada, visuelle Künstlerin, Forscherin und Studentin des MA Raumstrategien, wird Gastgeberin des KIEZ:MOBILs und Initiatorin einer fortlaufenden Ongoing KIEZ:Drawing sein. “Dies wird aus einer kollektiven Zeichenaktivierung bestehen, die auf dem KIEZ:MOBIL beginnt und bei der jeder willkommen ist, mitzumachen, zu beobachten und/oder mit mir zu zeichnen. Diese Aktion zielt darauf ab, ein inklusives, kreatives und soziales Umfeld in einem Übergangsraum – zwischen dem Hauptgebäude des Campus und der Abteilung für räumliche Strategien – zu schaffen, der die meiste Zeit unaktiviert und leer von sozialen Interaktionen bleibt. Diese Intervention zielt darauf ab, die Praxis des Zeichnens zu kultivieren, nicht nur als Mittel der Beobachtung und Dokumentation, sondern vor allem als soziales Bindeglied zwischen dem Stadtteil Weißensee, seinen Gemeinden und seinen Besuchern, der Schule und den (isolierten) Abteilungen für Raumstrategien und Bühnen- und Kostümbild” (Fallada, 2022). Maria Fallada, visual artist, researcher and student of MA Spatial Strategies, will host the KIEZ:MOBIL and iniciate an Ongoing KIEZ:Drawing. “This will consist on a collective drawing activation (starting) on the KIEZ:MOBIL where everyone is welcome to join, observe and/or draw with me. This action aims to stimulate an inclusive, creative and social ground in a transitional space –between the main campus building and the MA Spatial Strategies department– that remains unactivated and empty of social interactions most of the time. This intervention seeks to cultivate the practice of drawing, not only as a means of observation and documentation, but more importantly as a social link between the neighborhood of Weißensee, its communities and its visitors, the school and the (isolated) departments of Spatial Strategies and stage and Costume Design” (Fallada, 2023).
