We present to you – the WINTER TEAHOUSE SERIES! We are thankful for a rich Pop-Up Summer Teahouse! It is now time for slowing down, and for “wintering”. Nevertheless, we do not want to miss drinking tea together. We came up with a small winter edition of the Pop-Up Teahouse Berlin: Join us on five cozy Friday afternoons/evenings for restful TEA TIMEs, art work inspirations, informal talks.
We are pleased to inform you about 3 unique occasions in January in the frame of our Pop-Up Teahouse Winter Series: On Friday 21st of January, we had the honour to welcome Eva Lüdi Kong, author of the German translation of the “1000-Character-Classic / 千字文 / Der 1000-Zeichen Klassiker”. We dived eeper into the wisdom written here on the walls by artist Qian Geng 钱赓.
On January 22nd, we hosted a special in-depth calligraphy workshop with Andreas Schmid, lecturer for Chinese calligraphy at HfBK Dresden and expert on contemporary art in China.
POSTPONED TO MARCH 25th! Unfortunately due to covid, we had to postpone the third event in January. We look forward to welcome Stefanie Schweiger, co-author and photographer of the book “The Magic of Yuanfen – Searching for Masters of Healing and Ancient Chinese Wisdom”.
The February Winter Teahouse Salon is planned for February 25: A Teahouse Science Fiction Night with the creators of the magazine „Kapsel“. We will keep you updated with more information soon.
Thank you Yimeng – Studio Wu – for the beautiful Winter design!
