Richard Sachse und die neutrale Zone in Hankou (1938/39)
Über das Werk des Architekten Richard Sachse weiß man bislang wenig. Er wird 1908 in einer Passagierliste für die Ankunft in Shanghai erwähnt. 1912 erweiterte er in der deutschen Konzession in Hankou als Architekt die Unterkünfte für die lokalen Polizisten neben dem Rathaus. Ansonsten ist sein Wirken als Architekt in der Stadt bis 1939 nur fragmentarisch bekannt.
